Yesterday’s action was pretty good in shallow, especially for Perch.  Walleye activity was early at daylight and again at dusk, with overnight being pretty quiet for those out there.  Some of the bigger perch are starting to move shallower, from what I’ve seen. The deep mud areas in front of us have Perch there also, but so far, “Jumbos” are few and far between in those areas.

We have a few deluxe four-person rentals available yet for the weekend.  With the weather being nice and the last Walleye weekend, it will be worth a try.

Wheelhouses coming this weekend should call ahead and get on our weekend wheelhouse list. Seasonal wheelhouse customers that are not storing for the summer need to remove their house this weekend also. Those wanting to stay a couple extra weeks will need to contact the office and move it to the storage area designated.  Permanents will need to come up, and get their house ready to be pulled to shore and settle up their accounts.

I plan to remain open for Perch, Tulibee and Northern Pike thru March as long as customers make it worthwhile keeping the roads open.

Keep a Tight Line!
