Last evening we received a couple inches of snow. Today so far it’s clear and sunny but that is changing later today. We are still forecasted to get 8″-12″ of snow and strong winds the next 36 hours. So it seems they are backing down a bit in snow totals some. With that amount of snow and 35-45 mph winds it was a good thing to get the houses off when we did. Permanent customers that have been with us for many years know what l mean.
We are planning to reopen roads and wheelhouse spots for the weekend after the wind drops for Friday thru the weekend. We have rentals ready on shore that were reserved and if the customers can make the drive we will get them out for them for the weekend also. We will be in contact with them Thursday to confirm before pulling them out as I’m thinking the travel to get here might be difficult as more snow is predicted south of us.
If you have a wheelhouse here and plan on coming up you need to call to get on the list, along with others that want to make the trek for the last Walleye weekend..
We’ll wait it out and see how it goes…
