With the winds, not many showed up to go out today. Two wheelhouse seasonal customers are staying through the weekend. One is going for Northern Pike, and the other is going for Perch.

The winds have brought cooler weather. Tonight and through Saturday night, temperatures will remain below freezing. The road approach will be fine until the warm-up on Sunday, and then we will go from there. Ice conditions are good. Fishermen must avoid the road banks and check them before attempting to cross over them.

With the warmer weather forecasted again next week, it may be the last driving weekend. Mainly because of the road approach, but we’ll see what it brings next week. Keep watching the report.  Our office hours will be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.
