Last night the bite was still going for the two rentals we had out. Both caught slot Walleyes and others under and over. One house had C/R a 27″. This morning the Perch activity was very good until about noon.
The next couple days we are supposed to get some rain. Amounts forecasted varied but it sounds like maybe 1/2″. By Friday it’s supposed to turn cold enough for a little snow. It would be nice to see some snow out on the ice and stay for awhile. It would reflect the sunlight some and preserve what we have longer. Next weeks forecast is for cooler temps and staying below freezing for a few days straight which will help also.
We will continue taking reservations for the next two weeks. Ice conditions will determine what size houses we have out there and whether or not we will be driving or doing the ATV things we have been the last week for rentals, portables and wheelhouses. So call ahead, keep watching my report for what we will be doing out there.
Tomorrow we will be building up our access to protect it thru the next couple days. With weather like we are having it’s always the first spot to take the hit.
Keep a Tight Line!
