Overnight, we received about 2″ of snow, and this morning, the WNW wind picked up, and visibility went to almost zero for a while. Those out overnight reported when the winds shifted. Fishermen reported action, but mostly all smalls. Some fishermen set up for Northen Pike C/R, a 35″ plus, and lost five decoy-sized suckers to something big that ran almost 100 feet and didn’t stop.
We will be out this afternoon prepping rentals for the weekend. After the winds die overnight, we will be out clearing roads, getting customers into their houses, and getting ready for the next snow, which is expected to arrive Friday night into Saturday morning. The next one is not supposed to have strong winds, so that will be a plus.
Permanent customers must call 24 hours in advance for driveways, etc. We are only going to plow into those that we know are coming. Wheelhouse customers need to call in advance also and get on our list. They should also have a set of tire chains to put on just in case as it will be difficult to move around out there after Friday night’s snow. Plowed spots will be available upon request when you call to get on the list. We will pick the spots, and they will cost $25.00 extra.
It’s going to be a busy weekend out there
