Overnite the wind has dropped some and I can see lights across towards Big Point form here so the drifting has let up some. It is -21 degrees at 5:30 am. We received approximately 10 inches of snow and the winds blew it around some, but they were not as gusty as predicted. It almost would have been better if it did blow hard as now the main roads did not clear off as they usually do.
Our plan is to get out there at daylight, get the roads started, and start getting rentals ready for noon arrivals. Everything was prepped Monday/Tues/Wednesday with them, all that is left is driveways and drilling holes. We will plow driveways to permanents that have called 24 hours in advance. And then we will plow spots for those with wheelhouses that have called ahead yesterday later in the afternoon and Saturday morning. We will be plowing spots during daylight hours only. I haven’t been out there yet and after the first couple runs if I think we will not be able to keep with that i will update the report by 10:00 am, so check back.
Yesterday the few that were out did not have much to report when I talked to them last evening.
Keep a Tight Line!! Eddy
