The bite Friday overnight and Saturday was slow for most, but as always, there were exceptions. Even though fisherman said it was slow, most were busy with 12″ Walleye, some with small Perch with a few Jumbo’s mixed in. A few “keepers” in the shallower water. Almost everyone checking out this morning had some action.  Below are a few of the pictures that were taken and sent in.

Permanent and seasonal wheelhouse customers should stop by the office to settle accounts if they haven’t needed to check in the next two weeks. Seasonal wheelhouses, unless prior arrangements have been made, must be removed the weekend of February 22nd. We will be filling the lot with permanents starting on the 22nd.  Call the office if you have any questions.

For those wanting to rent for the Valentine’s Day/Presidents Day weekend coming up, we are having a “special” available. Deluxe houses that typically rent Friday through Sunday will be available Friday through Monday at the same price.  The basic house 24-hour weekend rate will Discounted 20%. If you’re interested, give us a call. The weather forecast sounds like it will be a really nice weekend to be on the ice!
