Yesterday and last evening there was only a few anglers out there. From what reports I got the bite was slow. Some Anglers were out in the Tullibee Hole and picked up some Tullibee and a couple Walleye, but that was about it.

The cold is definitely making some ice out there. The cold weather has also made some pretty hard drifts in some spots too. In most cases if you avoid them it’s still pretty good going. But now there is so many areas that have been parked on and drifted that it is not too easy to move around and find a spot.

Our weekend wheelhouse list is growing, and just a reminder for the seasonal wheelhouse customers.  You need to call ahead if you want a spot plowed. That way we know in advance how many to get ready for the weekend.

It’s looking like the temps are going to be fairly cold for the weekend. But it’s sounds like maybe not as much wind which would be nice after last weekend.  Next week a warm-up is coming and by the following weekend it will be above freezing.
