Yesterday the best fishing reports came from the overnight hours. Deep and shallow didn’t seem to matter, they were biting for most out there. There were nice catches in both. it’s the time of year when shallow water becomes active again.
We opened up more spots on the NW and N sides of the Banana in areas that had slushed out and froze up and will be making more spots for wheelhouses for the this weekend. Sounds like the weekend will be pretty nice again so anglers to should will be out and about.
After this weekend there will only be two weekends left before the houses come off for the season. All permanents must have their accts paid up an settled before the last weekend. Letters will be sent to permanent customers that haven’t paid the seasonal fee this year and will be required to remove their house from here. Some major changes are going to happen over this summer with permanents and will be announce via letter to our customers.
Our access will remain open for Northern Pike Fishing, Tullibee and Perch as long as the ice remains safe and the approach holds up. This year I’m not to sure how long it will last with the ice thinner than most years.
Keep a Tight LIne!
