Yesterday the bite was slow  during the day, Mostly small Perch and Walleye. Late afternoon and early evening things picked up. I received numerous pictures of some nice C/R Walleye.

We are continuing to clear spots for houses to go on in the future.  The ice depths vary from 12″-15″.  Some areas that flooded due to cracks and froze are 15″-17″ but there are very few places like that.  It’s not much ice for this time of year and with this warm weather it is not making any.  It will help settle the snow some the next couple days, but we need cold weather more than anything right now we are not going to get it for a week or so it sounds.   Some of the heavier houses will not be going out until it comes.  We are pulling the lighter houses on the list first and you will get a call when it’s out.

We will be limiting vehicles to under 6000lbs to houses.  Season wheelhouse customers with 1/2 ton truck and single axles. We are encouraging portables to snowmobile or ATV to keep from parking on the roads.

Keep a Tight Line!
