Fish were active overnight Friday and Saturday morning, By the afternoon and early evening most reported pretty slow going. So far this morning from the couple reports I heard so far overnight was quiet also.
With the temps staying above freezing the next couple day I will NOT be pulling anymore permanent houses. When temps are this warm ice roads do not heal when they crack from the weight of a truck and house. I will not endanger others that are out there that need to come off so I will continue plowing spots but not pulling any more out until it starts freezing again. This warm weather is nice to be out in but not good for anything else out there.
More and more areas are flooding now due to warmer weather and portable activity. Everywhere they drill there ends up being a large area out that floods out. Eventually when it freezes it will help but that’s going to be a while with the temps we have. When you have as little as 11″ to as much as 14″ of ice with all the weight of the snow and above freezing temps it gets to the point where you just have to wait.
Be Safe!
