Yesterday anglers reported a pretty slow day out there. A couple rentals did fair but overall it was pretty quiet.

This morning it’s snowing and we are to receive an inch or two before noon.  It will be nice to have new snow for banking.  The flooded areas along the road banks have froze enough to hold the snow but not froze enough to hold any weight so customers will need to stay away from the road banks and run by the reflectorized stakes along the opposite side of the road.  That will be the most important thing to be aware of this weekend until things freeze up more.

We will continue with 5000lb vehicles or less to houses.  Seasonal wheelhouses with 1/2 tons and single axles.  Due to all the flooding in areas last week and above freezing temps wheelhouse spots will be along the Tundra road on the thicker ice only.  I will not be going out and establishing new areas until the cold weather comes and things freeze up under the snow. There are reefs and many areas that flooded out and to try and go in there now only will make more of a mess.  I don’t want to screw those areas up when we can get on them in a week or so after the cold hits.

Keep a Tight Line!
