I didn’t do a report this morning as I was on the ice plowing and getting driveways ready for rentals. Spent all day out there between clearing roads and pulling more permeants. The little bit of snow and the NE wind overnight was just enough to have to clear everything up.

Fishermen kept busy with Perch as they checked in and making last round of rentals  a few Walleye were being C/R.  With the barometer going up some I’m hoping it will be a pretty good weekend.

With the colder weather (at least below freezing and teens for lows) things are starting freeze up some.  There is still along way to go but at least we are headed the right direction now.  For the weekend we are remaining with vehicles weighing under 5000lbs.  Seasonal wheelhouse customer with 1/2 ton and single axle.  As the ice improves this week I’d expect that to change.  The biggest problem is getting spots where you won’t flood out.  As the ice cools off it will float more and that will help some.

Keep a Tight Line!
