Yesterday, all the rentals showed up and were settled in before dark. This morning, when we make the rounds, we’ll see how the bite is going with this cold weather and high barometer. With the winds dying down, -25 degrees didn’t feel that cold this am.

We are making ice now, with 21-22 inches being the most common. There are no restrictions on wheelhouses and trucks now, except for 1 ton and big tandems. I don’t want them across the pressure ridge. It’s moving daily (either cracking or pushing, depending on the temps). And I don’t like that much weight going across it.

We moved a basic 4-hole rental out into the Tullibee Hole.  It’s time…
