Over the weekend, the fishing reports were mixed, with some C/R, some nice-sized Walleye, and some seeing and catching a few nice Perch. Overall, small Perch and Walleye were the most reported. Saturday evening, when the NW winds picked up, the overnight bite died, from what I heard. There were also some nice-sized Northern Pike C/R on the shallower reefs. I will be putting some of the pictures on our Facebook page today.
This week, we are moving some rentals to late-season spots. Some permanents will need to be blocked, and you will be called about it. With warmer weather approaching, the weight of the drifts around the houses will cause some flooding. In a week or so; it sounds like we will see a significant snow event. So, we are going to get ahead of the game while the weather is nice.
Our weekend wheelhouse list starts Tuesday morning. Those who call to get on it get a $5.00/day discount on access. You have to be here and on the ice before dark so as not to disturb others who are out there fishing during prime time. We have a few rentals still open for this coming weekend, so check give us a call and come up.
Keep a Tight Line!
