Today as fishermen left from the weekend most of the reports were OK.  Some had some decent fishing for Walleye.  Many pictures were sent in of slot and C/R Walleye, those that didn’t have much luck had some decent Perch fishing.  Some anglers didn’t do much at all but it unfortunately it seems it always happens. All we can do is do our best, and we can give them good spots and nice accommodations during their stay.

I went out this afternoon and started plowing in some new areas to see how the freezing of slush was doing.  From what I seen it’s going to need another 24-36 hours, but after that most areas will be good to open up.  It will be nice to get back to some of our fishing grounds we normally go to.  From what I seen this weekend for fishing there will be a lot of good spots to go to.

We will be starting our weekend wheelhouse list  this Tuesday,  IMPORTANT!! – (See the wheelhouse rates section to know how we do it.)  Seasonal paid wheelhouse customers will have first chance. Some areas will be 1/2 tons and single axles. Established areas with better ice will have tandem axles but no 3/4 ton or larger diesels.

Keep a Tight LIne!
