Yesterday the bite was slower from what reports I did get.  a few pictures of
“keepers” , but most that went out didn’t report so that usually means a slower day.

The NW winds was fairly strong and it actually brought in warmer temps.  I went out and checked the Pope’s road and road to Spider to plow, but found slush. So we will have to give it a few more days before going over the top of it.  After checking more the first 1/2 mile or more has slush under it that is freezing a little, but will not until we get more cold, (next week).  Once you get out there farther conditions are better.  We just need some cold weather with no snow and we should be able to get going.

Until then we will remain portable, with ATV’s, snowmobiles, and smaller side by sides over the weekend. Plenty of parking available.
