Yesterday the anglers that went out did not have much action. Perch were mostly small and no Tullibees were reported. With the predicted 5-8′ of snow, we opened up the roads before so whatever we get won’t be as bad to plow. With the forecasted east wind it goes against the “grain” with the way we plow roads as we usually keep the road banks to the east and south so it was better to open them up some.
This morning the snow has already started and the east wind is making it miserable enough out there that we closed the access for the weekend. We are planning on opening them up after this passes and go from there. Keep an eye on the report.
