Today I took down the signs along the driveway and new office and got ready for the next batch of snow.  We are forecasted to receive 4-6 inches and very strong north winds the next 36 hours.  So March came in like a Lion and is going out like one too.

Earlier in the week I went out on the ice and picked up the road signs and cones, but was unable to pull the road stakes yet as there was no evidence of thawing out  below the snow yet and there is a lot of snow on the ice right now.  In most places a 12″-18″ .  it will take alot of warm days and nights to get that melting.  So far it’s been freezing every night and a couple nights this week it was below zero and not above freezing during the day.  ice out will be late this year unless we get some extreme temperature changes.

I moved the camera back to the west a little so those that want to see Spider Island and sunsets will be able to.
