The last 12 hours we have been getting a strong NW wind, bringing in cooler temps and clear skies. Not anything even close to what we will need to start making ice, but its for sure cooli9ng the water down.
We are getting close to down with rental prep and improvements, I’ve been working on in the shop on numerous projects. There won’t be much to do on the trucks this year as most of them didn’t see the ice last year, but we will be checking things over anyways. We will be completing the work on the BR200 Bombardier for use on the ice this year if needed. It will be a nice addition along with the J4 Bombi I’ve had for years.
Don’t forget to check out the rental, permanent and wheelhouse pages for information on rentals and weekly and seasonal rates w/o storage for wheelhouses. Cindy Lou is taking reservations at home until we open the office. (That will open when we have “walkable” ice). Watching the webcam will give you a good idea of what is happening out there. I will post more frequently in the future.
