On November 15th, the average highs reached 50 degrees. It sounds like we will start seeing a change by the end of next week. We are getting close to having rentals ready and will start truck and equipment checks next week.
I would suggest that permanents who haven’t been up and checked over their houses get up here and do that soon while the weather is still nice. especially the heaters, stoves, and regulators. You do not want to have problems when you get on the ice.
With the Walleye regulation changes, we should see a busier season this year as long as we get good ice. We will be getting back to the areas we didn’t go to last year due to poor ice conditions. You might want to look at the road map to areas we normally go to so you can plan your trip.
Our office will reopen when we get “walkable” ice, so keep an eye on the Lake Cam and report,
Eddy
