Overnight we received 1″-3″ of snow and the NW wind is blowing 40 mph off the lake. Looks more like winter than spring. Especially when most of the week prior had been in the 70’s and sunny.
Cindy and I have been busy sorting and packing stuff out of or house on the hill and slowly moving it to our new place back in the pines. That place isn’t quite ready yet as we are waiting for countertops, appliances, sinks and toilets to be installed. We have to be out of here by the end of the month, so it looks like we will be living out of our fifth wheel for awhile. Can’t stay in the Red House as it is rented Opening of the Fishing season. Being 65 and 67 years old things don’t move quite as fast as it used to. My Son and Daughter have been helping when they can, but we will need some extra help for the last week and the furniture.
The weather forecast for this week is pretty much plain cold with another possible snowstorm next Thursday/Friday. So the ice will not be doing much melting out there this week. It will probably start freezing the honeycombing that has already started last week. So I have no prediction yet as to when we will see water..
Oh well…
