February 15th, 2016

As anglers went home yesterday most reported they had a good weekend out there.  Most of the rentals C/R as many as 20 Walleyes, some nice 10″ Perch.   4 Northern Pike from 35″ to 42″ were C/R as well as with 2 28″ plus Walleyes.  Most of the action was Friday night, Saturday day in the weekend houses. Saturday eve and Sunday am were slower.  The nicer sized Perch started to bite in the shallow water areas too.

Yesterday we got about an inch of snow and about another is expected tonight. Later this week the temps will warm up and we might see some freezing rain.  The Mille Lacs Drift Skippers is having their annual “Vintage Snowmobile Run” on Saturday in Isle and the warmer temps might not be good for that, but lets hope we can have it.

The Lyback/TWP Tournament is Feb 27th. There are some spots left but they are going fast. sign -up before it is full as it is limited to 150 people.

Keep a Tight Line!
