Feb 1st….25 days left in the Walleye season.  It seems like we just got going and by the end of the month its over.  Of course we will be leaving roads out and looking for Perch and Tullibee, but houses will be put away for another year.

The last couple days and evenings anglers that have been out have had some really good fishing, especially overnight in the shallow rocks. And in the basin areas around those rocks some 10-12″ Perch were being caught also. Those that went deep did pretty good to with one angler reporting Wednesday am when he checked out that from 2:00 am to 4:30 am he caught and released 20 Walleye.  (Right place, right time). The trend seems to be deeper is better, but don’t forget the shallow night bite.

With Superbowl weekend coming we have some rentals available yet, so if you want to get away from it down there, give us a call.
