This afternoon as fishermen left there were mixed reports for Walleye.  Mostly small ones were C/R.  Eelpout  or Burbot are spawning and everyone C/R some.  The highlight was the Perch in shallow water. Some anglers did very well with “keepers” and that bodes well for the couple weeks if the ice holds up.  Tullibee were reported in the “Tullibee Hole” and that’s another good sign.

I will be keeping roads open for Perch, Tullibee and Northern Pike until the weather shuts us down or the ice becomes unsafe.  Rentals are off the lake so it will be wheelhouses and portables from here on out.
