This weekend’s fishing put Mille Lacs lake on the map again.  This time in a positive note.   Finally…  The rental customers leaving today were very happy, and quite a few are staying over for another night. Lots of Walleyes caught and released, some caught in the slot. I seen more pictures of 26″ to 29″ Walleyes C/R in two days than I seen all last winter season. ( All 6 weeks of it..), plus alot of the 2013 year class as well.  Some did well with the Perch and some not but most everyone caught enough for a fish fry.  Heard of 3 Northern Pike lost in the hole,  a 36″ C/R.  Fishermen that were here for the day today said the activity was slower in the areas we sent them to this a.m.  Two different places they were seeing Muskies on their camera’s, so I presume they chased them out.  If this keeps up, this winter will be a lot of fun…   🙂

We are going to hold off on more house pulling until after the snow and wind drops Wednesday.  NOAA weather is predicting 3-5 inches of snow and 20-35 mph NW winds Mon p.m thru Tues p.m.   When it dies I will be pulling as many houses as I can for the coming weekend.  Private customers wanting to come up next weekend call and verify with the office.  Even though you are on the list, you won’t be pulled out if you are not going to use it right away.  It’s better off in the lot than on the ice until you come up.

Remember, the Lybacks/TWP Tournament is February 25th this year.  Entry fee is $50.00/person.  100% payback in cash and prizes.  You must sign up and pay at the office when you are up,or mail check to us.   It’s limited to 150 people.  Spots are already going..

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
