Yesterday the bite was pretty good from reports I heard last evening as they came off the lake. Fish were caught in 13 to 24 feet.  There is obviously a lot of baitfish in the shallower water. Some nice sized Walleyes seem to be staying in those areas.

The temps really warmed up and it started getting to the ice.  Our “crack” we have ramps across on both roads has started to push. Hopefully it won’t too much.  Pressure ridges are no fun to deal with.  The good thing is that the snow is settling some.  I’m continuing to pull permanents and those that went out yesterday will be called this am.

Until I know what is going to happen with the roads we will be limiting wheelhouses crossing it to single axle and 1/2 rated pickups. And as stated before only seasonal wheelhouse customers will be allowed out of our access until everyone else is out there. After that time, (which should be early next week), I will open it back up again for all wanting to come.

Keep a Tight Line!
