March 7th, 2023

Yesterday we received a couple inches of snow, but not enough to plow. A few anglers went out but i did not hear anything reports from them so I’m presuming it was slow.

I did receive some pictures and video from a customer that was out in the Tullibee Hole over the weekend of  Lake Fly larvae in the “genus stage” (when they turn into bugs and swim and crawl on the bottom ).  They seemed to be all over on the bottom and in the water column.  I would think that if they are hatching and in the area, sooner than later there will be Tullibee and/or Perch moving in to feed on them.     Time will tell I guess.

We are forecasted to receive even more snow before the weekend, but I will be opening the roads either late Friday or early Saturday morning depending on the timing of  it.  If you plan on coming up for the weekend with your wheelhouse, give us a call so I can plan.
