This morning the winds picked up from the SE and most of the ice that was in front out about a mile left and headed NW. Currently we have about a 1/4 mile of ice that probably will stay.  but the rest will have to start over. (Probably for the best anyways).

The rentals are all ready except for a few changes we are going to make during the extra time we have now. Cindy and my daughter Andrea were “troopers” this past week and got all the carpets “rinse and vac’d”, windows cleaned, bunk cover washed and installed. And interior walls wiped down.

I got the road approach ready this week. When it initially froze we had alot of north wind and the slush piles were pretty high and were out about 20 feet from shore. When the excavators were out to make a driveway and house pad on the property we plan to build on next year, I had them come over and do it while they were here.

Permanent house owners.. Please take the time to get up here and check your house out before it gets to the point when we are pulling.  Some of you need repairs on runner pulls, tank brackets, etc.  Take the time now instead of waiting till the last minute.

Keep a Tight Line!!     Eddy
