February 19th, 2019

Yesterday the bite was quiet during the day. Some anglers went out for the full moon bite in shallow water and it will be interesting to find out how they did today.

I spent most of the day getting the storage lot ready for permanent houses coming off. Wheelhouse storage customers that have their houses here NEED to get up here asap and move them from the middle of the lot as we are starting to pull some of the houses off already. Permanent house owners will need to get up here this weekend and get their house ready to pull after fishing as we will be starting to pull Monday.

3′-7′ of snow is in the forecast for Wednesday/Wednesday eve. And another possible snowstorm coming for the weekend, so we will not be plowing any more spots for wheelhouses, except for our wheelhouse storage customers. And they will have to call ahead.

Unless the next storm coming this weekend is a big one, the Lybacks/TWP Tournament is still on for February 23rd. As long as we don’t get any big winds we can deal with the snow.  A final decision will be made Thursday morning and will be reported here.  If cancelled everyone will keep their tickets. All prizes will be kept and we will hold it at a later date in March or hold everything over for next season.  Lets hope most of the snow misses us.

Keep a Tight Line!!     Eddy
