Yesterday and last evening reports were coming in of some fish being caught.  Numerous pictures were sent to my cell from customers of some pretty nice Walleye. Not saying the fishing was good, but with anglers out there you will always see more caught. This past week with the colder temps and steady high barometer things were pretty tough out there with exception to the typical early morning/late afternoon bite.  But tonight with the Full Moon and the snowstorm passing by to the south I expect some good catches, especially those that go shallow and stay quiet.

The ice roads are doing well and wheelhouse customers are keeping the speeds down.  Unfortunately… we had one rental customer that thought he knew better and ended up in the road bank stuck. I have no patience for stupidity like that as they will find out this morning when I visit them…. The crack we have been dealing with is stable with these temps and I do not foresee any problems with it the rest of the weekend. But I’ve been known to be wrong before…    🙂
