January 5th, 2018

Yesterday the warmer weather did not affect the snow too much on the lake.  On shore it was melting but on the ice it was just really nice to be out there. Fishing was good for those on the deeper edges during the  day, and  at dusk  shallower reefs caught fish as well.  Perch are showing up some too.

We had to reset the bridge on the Tundra road in the morning, but it stayed put for the day.  We’ll see how it looks this morning. The wheelhouse rules will remain the same as I stated in the Friday, January 4th report.

Sunday evening NOAA has predicted 3-5 inches of snow up our way. Something we just don’t need, but hopefully it will be the last for awhile.  It is great for snow-mobiler’s, and its about time we had a good snowmobiling year up here, but I if it would just stay off the lake…..    🙂

Keep a Tight Line!    Eddy
