Yesterday was a quiet day on the lake, we had only two portable fishermen out and I did no get any reports from them.

I checked out fishing spots for houses and checked flooded areas where slush was and it’s slowly freezing.  Today and tonight will help tremendously and with the weather looking like it will be turning colder by next week I’m thinking we will be over the hump and finally getting out there.

I’m going to get some of my rentals out for this weekend to get some income coming in and as time allows get smaller privates out. We will not be allowing vehicle traffic for anyone other than rentals with compact or sub compact SUV’s .  Otherwise all other traffic will be side by sides, ATV, snowmobile only.  Until ice conditions in areas that have 8-9 inches of ice yet improve , that is what we will be doing.

We have a crack that is running east/west across North Twin, Spider, Gull and Pope’s Reef and yesterday it was about 10″ wide.  Today we will put ramps across the two roads that it crossed.  But it did screw up some fishing areas on the north side of Gull and North side of Pope’s, so it will be a challenge to spot houses in those areas for a bit.

It will be a slow process, but we will get going.  Thanks for your patience.
